I've been diagnosed with C5C6 cervical compression and have severe neck pain that radiates to my right arm along with numbness. Should I see a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic surgeon for this? Is surgery the only option or can it be managed with medications?

My mom has a 17-14mm disc prolapse at L4-L5. Will this heal on its own with rest or does she need surgery? Also, is it okay to keep doing physiotherapy for this?
