I've been diagnosed with colloid nodular goiter and was told surgery might be needed for the left side of my thyroid are there other treatment options I could consider instead?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, there are alternative treatments to surgery for colloid nodular goiter, including radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and radioactive iodine treatment. RFA uses heat to shrink the nodule, while radioactive iodine is used to treat an overactive thyroid and may also help decrease the size of the goiter.

Numerous clinical reports about the hypoglycemic action of berberine can be found in Chinese literatures. Berberine was claimed to have a comparable activity to sulphonureas or metformin in reducing blood glucose, although most of the studies were not well designed.

I'm looking for ways to increase my height by about 3 inches. I'm currently 5 feet 6 inches tall. Is there any treatment that can help with this without causing any side effects? I've been feeling a bit anxious about this and really want to find a solution that works.
