I've been diagnosed with an endometriotic cyst and multiple fibroids and need laparoscopic surgery is it possible to have a female doctor perform the procedure including the anesthesia? I'm a bit nervous about the whole process and would feel more comfortable with a female team

My wife has been dealing with an endometriosis cyst for over a year now. We tried allopathy first and then switched to Siddha medicine for the past 9 months it's helped but hasn't fully cured her. I'm wondering if Ayurveda and Siddha use similar treatments or if switching to Ayurveda might give better results. Is there any guarantee that Ayurveda can completely cure it? We really want to avoid surgery and are exploring alternative treatments. What would you suggest?

I'm really worried because I had sex a couple of weeks ago and now I'm experiencing these sharp abdominal pains. Could this be related? Should I be concerned or do something specific about it?

Sharp abdominal pain after sex could be due to various reasons such as pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian cysts, or even a urinary tract infection. I would recommend taking a pain reliever like acetaminophen and scheduling an appointment with your gynecologist for further evaluation. In the meantime, you can also try using a heating pad on your abdomen for relief.
