I've been experiencing this strange sensation on my hands, neck, and legs like something crawling on my skin, but there's nothing there. It's like the hair on my skin is moving or standing up. I don't have any itching or rashes, though. This just started happening yesterday, and I'm not sure how to deal with it. Should I see a doctor, or is there something I can do at home?

I'm dealing with some issues down there. My penis skin feels sticky and it's pretty itchy. It's also slightly painful when I try to pull the skin back. There's this sticky white stuff on the head that looks like dried semen, but I'm sure that's not it. This has been happening for about three days now, though I'm not having any trouble with erections or urinating. What might be going on and how can I treat it?

it can be Smegma: A natural, cheesy substance that can accumulate under the foreskin, causing irritation and stickiness.1. Maintain good hygiene: Gently wash the affected area with mild soap and lukewarm water. 2. Avoid harsh products: Refrain from using scented soaps, bubble baths, or other products that may irritate the skin. 3. Dry the area thoroughly: After washing, gently pat the area dry with a clean towel. after following these if your symptoms doesnt resolve then contact general surgeon

I've been dealing with a fungal infection on my penis for a few months now. I saw my GP and they gave me Daktarin cream, which really helped with the symptoms. But now I've run out and I'm noticing the dry skin coming back. I got prescribed Daktacort cream this time, but it says not to use it on the genital area. Is it actually safe to use there? Also, since it's just mild dry skin at this point, could using shea butter as a moisturizer be a good idea?

Daktacort cream contains an antifungal (miconazole) and a mild corticosteroid (hydrocortisone) which can be effective for fungal infections. However, it is not recommended for use on the genital region due to the presence of the corticosteroid which can cause thinning of the skin in that area. It is best to consult your healthcare provider for an alternative treatment for your genital fungal infection. As for using shea butter as a moisturizer for mild dry skin, it can be a good option as shea butter is known for its moisturizing properties.

I've been using Betnovate N since I was 15 for these dry patches on my skin. I stuck with it for about a year and a half, but after I stopped, my skin's texture really changed. It got super itchy and dry, and now I have blackheads. Luckily, no pimples, but my skin does feel a bit rough. What can I do to fix or improve this?

Sounds like side effects from prolonged use of Betnovate-N, which contains betamethasone and neomycin. To help improve the texture of your skin and address the dryness, itchiness, and roughness, you can try using a moisturizer containing urea and lactic acid to hydrate and exfoliate the skin. Additionally, you can use a gentle cleanser to help with the blackheads. Avoid using harsh scrubs or products that may further irritate your skin. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
