I've been experiencing throat pain for the past 34 days and it's not getting any better. It's really uncomfortable when I'm eating, sleeping, and even just breathing. I'm starting to worry about what might be causing it. What could this be and what should I do about it?

My 2.5-year-old son has adenoids and has been on montair LC and abymys nasal spray at night for 8 weeks. He's been sleeping peacefully without snoring or breathing issues since starting the treatment and is very active. The doctor suggested surgery if things don't improve after 2 months, but I really want to avoid that. What should I do?
Since your son is responding well to current treatment and is sleeping peacefully, focus on continuing that treatment and monitoring his progress. A follow-up with the doctor is crucial to discuss his continued improvement and explore all available options, including delaying surgery if possible, if symptoms are minimal, treatment may not be necessary.
