I've been experiencing this weird tightness in my neck along with a sore throat that comes and goes. It's been almost a week now, and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Sometimes I feel it pretty strongly, and other times it's not there at all. What could be going on?

Your throat infection has progressedspread to the airways located in the chest, hence that feeling. Its called as Acute tracheitis bronchitis.

My 3-year-old has frequent swelling and infections in the neck area from adenoid issues, along with constant high fever and runny nose. The doctor recommended surgery to remove the adenoids, but we're hesitant because of his age. Are there other options we can try first?
