I've been feeling a bit worried lately because I've started experiencing shortness of breath and a slight heaviness in my chest at night. Its not really painful, but its been happening a couple of times a week over the last few days. Im not sure whats causing it or if I should be concerned. Who would be the best person to talk to about this?

View allI've been noticing my heart beating really noticeably when I'm lying down. My ECG came out normal, and the doctor mentioned it's palpitations and gave me some medication for it. Any idea how long it might take before the palpitations go away?
The duration for palpitations to improve can vary depending on the individual and the specific medication prescribed. However, in general, you may start to notice an improvement in your palpitations within a few days to a couple of weeks after starting the medication. It is important to take the medication as prescribed by your doctor and follow up with them for any necessary adjustments.

I've been noticing something odd when I sleep. If I rest my head on my hand, when I wake up, that part of my head feels numb, almost like there's been blood circulation loss. It usually happens near my ear or sometimes at the back. Once I wake up and move my hand away, I can feel the blood coming back, and after massaging it for a bit, it feels normal again. Is this something to worry about, or is it common? I'm a bit anxious about it.
A colour doppler flow venous test is advised to the patient and cardiac opinion ..
