I've been feeling really uncomfortable in my throat for the past couple of days. It's like some food got stuck, and I've been coughing a lot, but it hasn't helped. Could you please provide some advice on what I should do?

I've been dealing with pharyngitis and had a throat culture done, which showed klebsiella pneumoniae present. I took antibiotics, and while some symptoms have improved, others linger. How can I know for sure if the bacteria is completely gone, and could the pharyngitis be caused by something else? If I get a repeat culture test and it comes back negative, does that definitely mean the bacteria is gone, or is there a chance it's still there but just not growing right now? Could you clarify this for me?

I've been noticing some small streaks of blood mixed with mucus whenever I suck out the mucus from my nose for the past three weeks, and now my cold has gotten much lighter. Should I be worried about the blood? What might be causing this?

Patient is advised x-ray chest pa view, pulmonary function tests (pft).

I'm having a really hard time swallowing anything, even my own saliva, since yesterday. Im a bit worried because a few days ago I had a throat infection and a cold, but was feeling better last week. Plus, I ate some really hot food yesterday and Im not sure if that messed things up again. Could that be causing my throat pain?

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
