I've been feeling some pressure on the left side of my throat lately, and it's kind of hard to breathe at times, which makes me want to cough. There's this strange feeling on the left side of my chest too sometimes. I can still take deep breaths without any issues, but my pulse can be a bit high, like around 100 beats a minute. Generally, my health is fine, and the only medication I'm on is birth control pills. Should I be concerned about this? I'm traveling abroad right now and will be for the next two weeks, so I'm wondering if I need to do something about it or can wait until I'm back home.

View allI feel tightness and pain in my throat, especially when I swallow. I had deviated septum surgery before but now facing this issue. Could this be related or something else?
A sore throat and tightness when swallowing after deviated septum surgery can be normal due to the breathing tube and potential dripping of blood, but persistent or worsening symptoms should be evaluated by a doctor. It could also be related to other issues like allergies, infections, or even GERD.

I'm a bit concerned because I don't have a cough, but every morning after brushing my teeth, I notice a tiny dark blood clot when I phlegm from my throat. It's only happened once, and since then I've been phlegming from my throat with no more blood. I went to see an ENT specialist and they said it was clinically normal, but I'm still a little worried. Do you think this is something I should be concerned about or is it really nothing to worry about?

I've been using Nasivion nasal drops for the past 10 years and can't seem to stop even after consulting doctors. One doctor suggested switching to Alligra M and saline drops while reducing the amount, but it's been really tough for me. Is there any surgery or alternative treatment that could help with this dependency?
Long-term use of nasal drops can cause rebound congestion. A gradual taper using saline sprays and antihistamines may help; surgery (like turbinate reduction) is an option if conservative measures fail.
