I've been feeling this weird needle-like sensation in my throat for a couple of days. There's no soreness or itchiness, and I don't have a cold or anything. It actually feels better when I drink something warm. Do you think taking something like Azithromycin or Amoxy Clav would help?

View allI'm feeling a bit concerned because a long time ago, I got a piece of paper stuck in my left ear, and I thought it might have dissolved into earwax over the years. A few months back, I went to the doctor, and their assistant only removed some wax and prescribed some medicines. Lately, it feels like that paper might still be lodged in there, and I'm also experiencing tinnitus. Is there a way to check and remove this without using syringing? Im not too keen on syringing because Im doubtful of its effectiveness. What would you recommend?

My mom's been dealing with this nonstop ringing noise all day, and it's only quiet when she sleeps. Is there any actual cure for this? A lot of people mention hearing aids as the fix, but I'm curious if there are other options.

I'm a woman in my mid-twenties, about to turn 26, and I'm weighing around 112 pounds. I went to see my ENT for some allergy concerns and out of nowhere, he suggested I get a tonsillectomy. He mentioned that my tonsils are pretty large and he's worried that if I ever gain weight when I'm older, it might lead to sleep apnea. I am of Asian descent, and I've been told that makes me more prone to sleep apnea. Honestly, I don't have any recurring throat issues, just some snoring, and the only time I had throat problems was back in 2010 with a few bouts of strep throat but nothing since then. He thinks I should have them removed now since recovery might be easier while I'm young. Do you think I should go ahead and get my tonsils out? Does all this sound like a good enough reason to proceed with the surgery?
Yes. In my opinion. You should go ahead with the tonsillectomy.
