I've been having this annoying pain on the outside of my right eye for the last couple of days. It doesn't look red or anything, but it really hurts when I blink. I've tried using a cold compress, but it hasn't helped much. What should I do to get some relief?

I'm dealing with some really uncomfortable itching and inflammation in my eyes, and they've turned really red. I can't seem to stop rubbing them. Could you recommend any eye drops that might help with this?

Visit your doctor for evaluation and appropriate management as it looks like Conjunctivitis.

I've been struggling with eye pain since the covid year. I spoke with a nurse at the eye hospital who suggested wearing glasses because of my low power of 0.25, but the pain persisted. I can't tolerate bright lights or work on my laptop, especially at night. About six months ago, an eye clinic diagnosed me with a severe eye allergy. I've been on medication courses for 3 weeks, then 2 months, and another 2 months. The pain eases with the meds, but it returns once I stop. Currently, I'm back on a 2-month course taking FLI drops, UV lube, and sodium hyaluronate XL HA, but the pain keeps coming back. Is there any chance this eye allergy can be permanently resolved, or will I have to keep taking these meds non-stop? Should I consider seeing another doctor for a second opinion?
