I can't tolerate bright lights or work on my laptop, especially at night. About six months ago, an eye clinic diagnosed me with a severe eye allergy. I've been on medication courses for 3 weeks, then 2 months, and another 2 months. The pain eases with the meds, but it returns once I stop. Currently, I'm back on a 2-month course taking FLI drops, UV lube, and sodium hyaluronate XL HA, but the pain keeps coming back. Is there any chance this eye allergy can be permanently resolved, or will I have to keep taking these meds non-stop? Should I consider seeing another doctor for a second opinion?
