I've been having a fever for the last couple of days. I've been taking medicine, but at night, when the fever spikes, I take Meftal Forte, and then I start sweating a lot, and the fever comes down. Today's my second day, and I'm feeling better than yesterday. Should I consider getting a dengue test, or is it just a viral fever?

I'm feeling pretty miserable with a cold and fever for the past couple of days. The cold symptoms are really intense, and although I only felt the fever internally yesterday, things seem to be getting worse. What should I do about this? Is there anything specific I should be worried about, or any remedies youd recommend to help me feel better?

-Sorry to hear you're feeling unwell! It sounds like the cold is hitting you harder than the fever. Make sure to rest, stay hydrated, and consider steam inhalation or a saline nasal spray for relief. If it worsens, dont hesitate to see a doctor.

I'm trying to figure out if my body temperature is normal since it's at 98. I don't have any symptoms of a fever. Should I be concerned, or is this temperature okay?

A body temperature of 98F (36.7C) is within the normal range, which is typically considered to be between 97.7F (36.5C) and 99.5F (37.5C), so you can be reassured that your temperature is normal,
