I've been having a hard time breathing, like it feels like it takes me forever to catch a proper breath. It's also really slow and difficult for me to eat my meals because of this. Do you have any idea what could be going on?

I'm curious about my breathing patterns. When I'm just relaxing, like sitting or lying down, I find myself doing a bit of deep breathing. Does that sound normal to you? But then, when I start walking, my breaths get shallower and quicker. So, my inhale and exhale times become pretty short. Is that something to be worried about or is it completely normal? I'm really unsure about this and would appreciate your guidance.

My mom was admitted to Apollo Hospital on May 27th, 2017, with pneumonia. She's had a heart surgery back in 2009. Right now, she's being treated for pneumonia and is in the MICU with a ventilator. I'm really worried and just want to know how long it might take for her to recover from pneumonia.
