I've been having a hard time sleeping and my throat really hurts. Plus, I've got this mucus that's kind of worrying me because it has these weird black specks in it. My sinuses feel all swollen too. Should I be worried about these symptoms? What could be causing this?

View allI heard the nose and ears keep growing throughout life. During my rhinoplasty, the surgeon cut and repositioned the bottom of my nose now the tip bends downward and sticks out more than before. Will it grow back to normal over time, or will it keep drooping further forward? It's been bothering me so much that I've even started washing my nose constantly, like I do with my hands and lips after eating. Another doctor helped restore my breathing and smell any insight on this?
The myth that the nose continues to grow throughout life is false. While the nose can change shape and size due to aging and gravity, these changes are not related to growth. The drooping nose tip after rhinoplasty is more likely due to swelling, cartilage remodeling, or surgical complications, rather than continued growth. If you are experiencing significant discomfort or changes in the nose shape, it's crucial to discuss these with your surgeon or a specialist.

My left ear has completely lost hearing and the doctor said the nerves are dead. Is there any medicine that can help or are there hearing devices that can be surgically implanted to restore some hearing?

Hey, I've been having this weird jaw pain right at the hinge, and I think it's a bit swollen, but only on the left side. I just had some dental work done on that side because of a cavity, and now it hurts to open my mouth wide. This all started last night, but for about five days before that, I'd wake up with a sore throat, a runny nose, and mucus. Strangely, during the day, I feel fine, but at night it all comes back until morning. There's also this occasional ringing noise in my left ear, like a beep, and it's around 814kHz or something. It's more obvious when I cover or muffle my ear. Any idea what's going on?
