I've been having a lot of gas trouble along with stomach pain and a headache, and it's not getting better. Could this be something serious? Do I need surgery or any specific treatment?

It could be gastritis or IBS; not likely surgical—diet changes and medication can offer relief.

I've had the ARMS procedure for GERD and acidity, but I still get constant burping. If I try to hold in a burp, I end up vomiting right away. Is there any permanent solution for this, maybe even surgery or another treatment? It's really affecting my daily life.

Persistent burping after ARMS may be due to altered gastric motility—further testing like manometry or fundoplication revision may help; consult a GI motility specialist.

My dad's HbsAg test came back positive, so it looks like he's got Hepatitis B. I'm really worried about what this means for his health. Can you please help us understand what our next steps should be for treatment and how we might cure this?

Hepatitis B is a viral infection that affects the liver. While there is no cure for Hepatitis B, treatment focuses on managing the symptoms and preventing complications. Antiviral medications such as Entecavir or Tenofovir are commonly prescribed to help reduce the viral load in the body and slow down the progression of the disease. It's important for your father to follow up with a healthcare provider regularly for monitoring and to discuss the best treatment plan for his specific situation.

I've been taking Dulcoflex for about a month now to help with constipation, but I'm noticing some weird side effects. I'm going to the bathroom a lot more often and I'm always hungry, even after eating a big meal. I've also noticed I'm losing weight and there's some itching around the anal area. I've done a bunch of tests but everything comes back normal. Could you suggest what might be going on or recommend some medication that could help? I'm really worried about these symptoms.

The symptoms you're experiencing, such as high urination, excessive hunger, weight loss, and anal itching, despite normal test results, may be related to the laxative Dulcoflex (bisacodyl); consider stopping or reducing the medication and switching to a fiber supplement like Psyllium Husk or methylcellulose to manage constipation
