I've been having a lot of pain around my throat, especially near my neck. These pains have been on and off for a while, but for the past 34 days, they've gotten worse. I've noticed a small lump near my Adam's apple, almost like a clot. Has anyone experienced something like this? What should I do?

The persistent and worsening throat pain, along with a palpable mass near the Adam's apple, warrants urgent medical attention; consider consulting an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist

I'm really concerned because I've had this sore throat for about two months now. It's red at the back and hurts a bit when I swallow. I've seen a couple of doctors alreadyfirst, I had a throat culture which was negative, then the ENT specialist prescribed calithromycin or cliff tablets, plus a gastric tablet and painkiller, but that didnt help at all. At RML hospital, they suggested amoxicillin for 6 days and sefixime for 5 days, still no relief. I read somewhere that it might be post-nasal drip and was advised to try an anti-allergy tablet and a steroid nasal spray. Can you suggest any specific nasal sprays or antiallergy tablets that might help?

Take anti-allergic tab and steroid nasal spray for 3weeks...it seems it's due to post nasal drip...

I'm really worried. I was cleaning my daughter's ears and she moved, causing the tip to go too far in. Her ear started bleeding a little and she cried for a minute, but now she says she can hear fine and has gone back to doing her normal activities. I'm still freaking out. What should I do?

No need to worry when she has no symptoms, just observe for any discharge or so,if not you can forget about it.

My doctor recommended septoplasty in early February because I often feel suffocated. I have a really important exam in mid-March if I get the surgery in February, will I recover enough to handle both? Right now I'm using fluticasone nasal spray and taking oral allergy meds

post 16 yrs sx is advised.continue fluticosone spray.
