I've been having sabja seeds water now and then to help with heat, urinary infections, and keeping my stomach clean. I'm curious if it's okay to just drink the water straight without chewing the seeds. Like, does my body really absorb it that way? Will it still work and give the benefits if I don't chew the seeds?

Drinking sabja seeds water without chewing is not recommended, as the seeds' nutritional benefits and gel-like properties are activated when chewed or soaked in water, allowing the seeds to release their mucilage, which aids digestion and provides other benefits.

I'm wondering if eating rice might be a problem for me because I've heard rice is naturally cold, and I'm concerned it could affect my health. Could you let me know if it's bad for me and perhaps suggest a diet plan? I'd appreciate your help! What kind of foods would be safe for me to eat?

Rice is not harmful for diabetes, but it should be consumed in moderation, especially white rice. Brown rice or other whole grains are better options. Focus on portion control, balanced meals, and low-GI foods to manage your blood sugar effectively. Always consult with your healthcare provider or a nutritionist for personalized advice, especially if you are managing diabetes or other chronic conditions.

I'm an actor trying to get slimmer, and although I've lost inches, my weight hasn't changed. I'm doing workouts, but I feel like I need a proper diet chart to help me lose more inches. I'm currently at 63 kg and about 5'3" in height. Could you give some advice on how to lose more inches effectively?

To help you lose more inches and achieve your desired weight, it is important to focus on a balanced diet and regular exercise routine. Since you are already working out, let's concentrate on your diet. You can start by incorporating more lean proteins like chicken, fish, and tofu into your meals. Additionally, include plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains for fiber and essential nutrients. To aid in weight loss, consider reducing your intake of refined sugars and processed foods. It's also crucial to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. As an actor, it's essential to fuel your body with the right nutrients to support your active lifestyle and help you achieve your weight loss goals. In terms of medication, you can consider using "Orlistat" which helps in weight loss by decreasing the absorption of dietary fat in the body. The recommended dosage is 120 mg three times a day with meals. Remember, consistency is key, so stick to your diet plan and exercise regimen for optimal results.

I'm feeling really overweight right now. I'm over 100kg and I want to slim down within the next 2 months. What steps can I take to achieve this?

A 20mm Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) is a significant hole in the heart. While some small ASDs can close on their own, a 20mm defect typically requires intervention. _Treatment options:_ 1. *Surgical closure*: Open-heart surgery is often recommended for larger ASDs like yours. This involves closing the hole with a patch or stitching it shut. 2. *Transcatheter closure*: This minimally invasive procedure involves inserting a catheter through a vein in the leg, guiding it to the heart, and deploying a device to close the ASD. However, this option is typically reserved for smaller ASDs (usually < 20mm) or those with specific anatomy. 3. *Watchful waiting*: If you're asymptomatic and have no other heart problems, your doctor might recommend regular monitoring to see if the ASD closes on its own or causes any issues. However, this approach is less likely for a 20mm ASD. _Alternative options:_ While there are no guaranteed non-surgical cures for a 20mm ASD, some alternative approaches might be discussed with your doctor: 1. *Yoga and breathing exercises*: Some studies suggest that yoga and breathing exercises can help improve cardiovascular health and reduce symptoms. 2. *Dietary changes*: A healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and omega-3 fatty acids might help alleviate symptoms.
