I've been having sexual interactions with another male, but our activity hasn't involved actual penetration, just some touching. I'm really concerned and want to know if this kind of contact could still put us at risk for HIV transmission.

View allI'm really stressed out. I recently had my first sexual encounter with a commercial sex worker, and during ejaculation, the condom slipped and ended up hanging in her vagina. It's been 15 days since then and the anxiety has been eating at me. I'm really worried about the possibility of HIV transmission because of the slip-up. Do you think I should go for an HIV RNA test now, or is it better to wait for a while?
It's understandable to feel stressed after such an experience, but the risk of HIV transmission from a condom slip is generally low if the condom was used correctly. It's advisable to get an HIV test at 3 months for conclusive results, but if you're very concerned, you can consult with a healthcare provider about the possibility of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

Dengvaxia is available in some countries for vaccination and had some safety issues post marketing. ICMR has developed and has done trials on a tetravalent dengue vaccine which is supposed to release soon.
