I've been having this strong pulse in my neck every time I lie down, and it's really affecting my sleepit's like I can feel my heart pounding too hard, and sometimes it makes me feel breathless with some chest pain coming and going. I saw a cardiologist, and they said my heart's okay since my ECG and 2d echo came back normal. My thyroids fine, and my blood pressure usually sits between 11060 to 11075. I'm on Inderal 10 mg, been taking it for about 12 days now. What could be causing these issues, and how can I fix it?

I'm really concerned about my dad. He's dealing with heart issues and fluid retention, and while he's on the right meds and treatments, he still seems to lose energy often and can't do his usual daily stuff. Is this kind of fatigue normal for someone in his condition, or could there be a particular reason behind it? I'm also curious if there's any surgical option that might help his situation. What do you think?

See a specialist for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment.

I'm a bit concerned because my LDL levels are slightly high. I've attached my recent lab results for you to review. Could you please advise on what steps I should take? Is medication necessary in this case?

Hi Sir, if your LDL levels are slightly high, you can consider taking Atorvastatin (brand name Lipitor) at a dosage of 10-20 mg once daily. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any medication. Regular exercise and a healthy diet low in saturated fats can also help in managing LDL levels.

I'm a 17-year-old guy and for the past three months, I've been having really frequent heart palpitations, like 4 to 5 times a day, sometimes even 6 or 7. It's just that feeling of my heart skipping a beat for a couple of seconds before it goes back to normal. It happens all of a sudden and I'm wondering if this could mean there's some heart disease going on. My resting pulse is 104. Also, I've noticed my hair has started thinning a bit. Could there be some link between the palpitations and things like nutritional deficiencies or low blood count?

It is important to investigate the cause of your frequent heart palpitations and elevated resting pulse rate. One possible connection between your symptoms of heart palpitations and hair thinning could be an underlying thyroid issue. I recommend consulting with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and testing. In the meantime, you can consider taking **Propranolol 10mg** for symptomatic relief of palpitations. However, this is not a definitive treatment and a proper diagnosis is necessary.
