I've been having this weird sensation, like something's crawling in my right ear, but every time I look, I can't find anything. When I use earphones, it feels kinda hollow in that ear, and I've been getting these intense headaches sometimes too. The eye doctor mentioned it might be from dry eyes after my LASIK. Now, I'm feeling some slight pain in my right ear and a bit of numbness. What do you think could be going on, and should I be worried?

View allI'm 21 and dealing with a septum deviation towards the right side plus a concha bullosa on the same side. My doctor mentioned surgery, but I'm wondering if it's really necessary. Do you think it's something I should go ahead with?
It is common to undergo surgery for septum deviation and concha bullosa if they are causing symptoms. The surgery is called septoplasty and it helps to correct the deviated septum and concha bullosa. It is usually recommended if you are experiencing difficulty breathing, frequent sinus infections, or other related symptoms. The surgery can improve airflow through the nose and alleviate symptoms. The doctor may also prescribe pain medication and nasal decongestants post-surgery to help with recovery.

I'm experiencing some popping and crackling sounds in my ears, especially when I swallow. It's mostly happening on the left side, but occasionally on the right too. I've also noticed some pain below my ear. Should I be worried about these symptoms? What could be causing this, and do I need to see a specialist?
No,it's not possible for an insect to settle down there, the noise could be due to fluid movement which is due to ear effusion, practice valsalva, visit ENT doctor for appropriate treatment.

I had a mastoidectomy tympanoplasty about three weeks back, and ever since, I've been hearing these dub dub sounds every now and then. But since yesterday, I've been hearing it a lot more, and just today, it went on for about 20-30 minutes straight. There's no pain, but I'm really curious about why this is happening. It seems to get worse when I'm traveling, especially if there are potholes on the road. Can you help me figure out what's going on?
A flaky skin issue in your inner ear, followed by a transparent liquid discharge and pain, requires attention. Possible causes: 1. Ear eczema (atopic dermatitis) 2. Seborrheic dermatitis 3. Middle ear infection 4. Eustachian tube dysfunction Consult an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist for proper evaluation and treatment. Avoid further peeling or inserting objects into your ear to prevent infection or damage.
