I've been losing a lot of hair lately, especially during washes and combing. I think it's partly due to the water in Kolkata since it has a lot of iron. Can you recommend a good shampoo for my situation? Also, I'm dealing with health issues like PCOD and low hemoglobin. I'm currently taking Livogen Z, Follihair tablets, and some Ayurvedic medicines like Kanchanaar Guggul and Triphala Ras for ovarian cysts. How long should I continue with the Follihair and Livogen Z? I've also straightened my hair recently, and I've lost a lot in the front. Really worried about how much hair I'm losing, any advice would be appreciated.

View allI've noticed a dark spot on my nose and mouth, and I'm trying to figure out what's causing it. Could it be related to dandruff or maybe whiteheads on my nose? I'm really curious to understand why this is happening and how I might be able to manage it. Any advice would be really helpful.
To control dark spots on your nose and mouth, you can consider using a topical cream containing hydroquinone, retinoids, and corticosteroids. Additionally, using sunscreen with a high SPF daily can help prevent further darkening of the spots. It is also important to maintain a good skincare routine, including gentle cleansing and exfoliation. For dandruff or whiteheads on the nose, you can use anti-dandruff shampoos containing ketoconazole or selenium sulfide. For whiteheads, topical treatments containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide can be effective. Make sure to follow the recommended dosage and instructions provided on the product packaging.

I've been dealing with perioral hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and it turns out my sister has the same issue. My doctor suggested I use Kozilite H cream with hydroquinone 2%. Do you think it's safe for my face, and how long should I stick with this treatment? Also, I've had really dark circles since I was a kid, so it's kind of a heredity thing. I don't want to put any hydroquinone cream around my eyes. Could you recommend a good, non-irritating under-eye cream to help reduce them?
1. Hydroquinone 2% is generally safe for short-term use (3-6 months) on the face, but prolonged use can lead to ochronosis, skin thinning, or rebound hyperpigmentation; use Kozilite-H cream as directed by your doctor, and monitor for any adverse effects. 2. For dark circles, consider a non-irritating, hydroquinone-free under-eye cream containing ingredients like caffeine, peptides, vitamin K, or niacinamide; some good options include Kama Ayurveda Under Eye Cream, La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Eye Cream, or Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel.
