I've been noticing some darkness on my lips and I'm considering a chemical peel to lighten them up. I'm curious, does a chemical peel really help with lip pigmentation? If it does work, is the effect going to be permanent or just temporary? I'm just not sure if its worth going through the procedure if the results won't last. Can you tell me more about what to expect?

Paracetamol During Breastfeeding
General Guidance
- Paracetamol is safe: Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) is generally considered safe to take while breastfeeding.
- Low transfer to breast milk: Paracetamol is transferred to breast milk in small amounts, which is unlikely to harm your 4-month-old baby.
Precautions and Recommendations
- Take the lowest effective dose: Take the minimum dose required to manage your pain and fever.
- Monitor your baby: Watch for any changes in your baby's behavior, such as fussiness, sleepiness, or refusal to feed.
- Consult your doctor or pediatrician: Inform your healthcare provider about your medication and breastfeeding status.
Alternative Pain Relief Options
- Non-medication methods: Try non-pharmacological methods like rest, hydration, and warm compresses to manage your pain and fever.
- Ibuprofen: If paracetamol is not sufficient, you can consider taking ibuprofen, but consult your doctor or pediatrician first.

View allI applied Deriva CMS on my face, but I forgot to wash it off and then went out into the sun. Now my skin has gotten darker. Could this be because of the cream or the sunlight? What should I do to fix it?

I've been diagnosed with rosacea about 5 months ago and I've been using lacto calamine lotion. The past few days I started putting coconut oil on at night because my skin gets pretty dry. My skin feels soft and there aren't any flakes, but I still get a few red patches when it's really humid. It's got me feeling pretty down and I'm wondering if I should just stick with what I'm doing. Also, does rosacea ever go away? I feel really depressed over this. What do you think?

I'm looking for alternatives to skin lightening creams that won't thin my facial skin or cause any redness. I want to steer clear of products containing steroids. Can you suggest any options that are safe and effective?
An alternative cream that does not contain steroids and is gentler on the skin is "Kojivit Plus Gel". It contains kojic acid, arbutin, and vitamin C which help in skin lightening without thinning the skin or causing redness. You can apply a thin layer of Kojivit Plus Gel on the affected areas of the face once at night.
