I've been noticing some discomfort around my belly button, and there's this small lump right over it. When I press on it, it seems to go in but then it comes back after a bit. I'm a bit worried about what this could be. Any idea what might be going on?

Pre-ejaculate fluid (pre-cum) may contain sperm.

Although the urethra is flushed with urine, residual sperm can remain.

Studies show:

  • 17-37% of pre-cum samples contain sperm
  • Sperm can survive in the urethra for up to 24 hours

However, the likelihood of pregnancy from pre-cum is relatively low.

To minimize risk, use protection or practice withdrawal with caution.

Had laparoscopy for gallstones about six weeks ago but still feel a slight pain in one of the incisions, especially when touched or if my shirt rubs against it. The incision is small, around 0.5x0.3 cm on the right side. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about?

It's common to experience some mild pain or tenderness around incision sites after gallbladder surgery, even six weeks post-op. This is likely due to the healing process and the body adjusting to the surgery. However, if the pain is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other concerning symptoms, it's important to consult a doctor.

I'm a 28-year-old male with a 4.7 mm umbilical hernia. I feel slight pain near my belly button but no other symptoms like constipation. How long might it take for the hernia to grow bigger? Should I consider surgery now or is it okay to wait for several years?

In your case, with a small umbilical hernia (4.7 mm) and mild pain, it's generally recommended to monitor it closely and consider surgery if it grows larger, becomes more painful, or causes other issues. Umbilical hernias can grow slowly over time, and while some may spontaneously resolve, they are more likely to require surgery in adults
