I've been noticing some vaginal discharge about 10 days after my periods. It's sometimes transparent, other times white, and has a bit of a smell. I don't have any pain or itching, so I'm not sure what this could mean. Should I be concerned about this?

How do miscarriages look?
Bleeding may start as light spotting, or it could be heavier and appear as a gush of blood. As the cervix dilates to empty, the bleeding becomes heavier. The heaviest bleeding is generally over within three to five hours from the time heavy bleeding begins.

I'm having some trouble with my periods lately. They've gotten kind of irregular, and I used to bleed for about 5 days, but now it's down to just 2 days. I had an ultrasound done, and it came back normal. What could be causing this change?
