I've been reading up on vitamin D and its impact on hair health, and I'm a bit concerned. I'm 23 years old and was recently told I have a vitamin D deficiency. My 25 OH hydroxy vitamin D test results show I have about 23ngmL. Could this deficiency be causing my hair loss? I'm pretty worried and would love some advice.

Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to hair loss, particularly alopecia areata, telogen effluvium, and female pattern hair loss; with a 25(OH)D level of 23 ngmL, you have a moderate deficiency; supplementing with vitamin D (1,000-2,000 IUday) and maintaining a balanced diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and biotin may help promote hair growth and reduce hair loss.

I'm really concerned about the safety of skin whitening pills. I've come across a lot of products that promise lighter skin, but I'm worried about potential side effects or long-term impacts on my health. Are these pills actually safe to use, or should I be cautious?
