I've been really diligent about brushing my teeth twice a day and using a tongue scraper every day to clean off my tongue. But, the problem is that no matter what I do, the white stuff on my tongue comes back within a day. It's frustrating. Do you have any advice or recommendations for products that might actually help? The scraper isn't doing much and just ends up hurting my tongue.

Typically, growth plates in bones close after puberty, limiting significant height growth. However, some minor growth (about 1-2 cm or 0.4-0.8 in) is possible until age 25.
To potentially maximize residual growth:
- Hormone regulation: Ensure balanced hormone levels, particularly growth hormone and thyroid hormone.
- Nutrition and diet: Focus on a balanced diet rich in:
- Protein (essential for growth)
- Calcium and vitamin D (crucial for bone health)
- Zinc, magnesium, and other minerals
- Exercise regularly: Incorporate exercises that promote bone density and growth, such as:
- Stretching and flexibility exercises
- Weight-bearing exercises (e.g., walking, jogging, cycling)
- Resistance training (e.g., weightlifting)
- Get adequate sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night to support growth hormone production.
- Manage stress: High stress levels can negatively impact growth hormone production. Engage in stress-reducing activities like meditation or yoga.
- Avoid smoking and excessive drinking: These habits can harm overall health and potentially limit growth.

View allI got into an accident a while back, and my tooth broke. They managed to fix it, but that was 8 years ago. I'm a bit worried if there's something I should watch out for or if anything needs checking up now. Any advice?

I've been noticing these small lumps on my body for about 10 years now. Is there a specific type of doctor I should consult for this? I'm really curious about what kind of treatment options might be available. Any advice would be really appreciated.
The small lumps on your body could be lipomas, which are usually harmless fatty tumors under the skin. You can consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment. In some cases, if the lipomas are causing symptoms or cosmetic concerns, they can be removed surgically. However, if the lumps are due to other causes, the treatment may vary. It is best to consult a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

I'm dealing with an issue where one of my premolars on the bottom right has partly broken, with half of it still stuck in there. I'm trying to figure out what would be the best lasting and comfy solution. Should I go for a dental implant or a bridge? Also, I'd love to know how much each option might cost. Any advice would be great!
