I've been struggling with getting a cough and cold over and over again. It's strange because I don't really cough during the day, but at night it gets so bad that I can't sleep properly. What could be causing this, and what can I do to get a good night's sleep?

View allI'm really worried about my dad. He's been dealing with this right side pleural effusion for the past two months. We got him a CT scan and thankfully there's no sign of anything serious like cancer or TB. The doctors are thinking it's likely an infection. My dad's 68 and has a heart EF of 25. The blood pleural taping results came back normal too. Do you think a biopsy is necessary for him, and is it safe given his heart condition?
Tab augmentin duo 625mg ,orally ,thrice daily for 5 days advised to the patient. Also syrup salbutamol 10ml thrice daily for 7 days is advised to the patient.Steam inhalation is also advised twice .Biopsy is not necessary.

I'm really curious to know if it's normal for someone who had Pulmonary TB to experience hemoptysis even after being cured? Like, if there was a cavity left from the TB, could that cause bleeding later in life?
yes hemoptysis occurs during lung tuberculosis

I recently got a chest x-ray for a job, and the results mentioned something about increased right basal marking pneumonitis, non-specific. Ive had asthma since I was a kid, and now I'm worried if these results are connected to that. Could I be developing pneumonitis, and what steps should I take next? I'd really appreciate some guidance.
possible infection do consult pulmonologist
