I've been struggling with this persistent dry cough for about three months now, and it seems to be getting worse. Sometimes I also experience a blocked nose for around 30 minutes, during which the cough stops, but once the cold goes away, the dry cough comes back. Also, I notice that when I cough, I sweat a lot, and if I talk too much, it triggers the cough too. Can you help me figure out whats going on and what I should do about it?

View allI've recently had a punctured and collapsed lung from a stab wound, and it's only been a week since I was discharged from the hospital. I know I shouldn't smoke since it might collapse my lung again or cause breathing issues. But I've noticed I'm coughing up a bit of blood lately. I started vaping as an alternative and am wondering if that's causing the blood in my cough. Could vaping be the reason, or is this something else I should be worried about?

I'm 41 and have been dealing with asthma since I was a kid, along with urticaria and GERD. My pulmonologist has me on Montek AB and Formoflo 250mg Asthalin rotohaler, but I recently had an echocardiogram showing mild PAH. They wanted a second opinion, so a senior cardiologist did a 2D echocardiogram and luckily, it came back normal, no PAH. But I still struggle with breathing I need to take deep breaths a lot and find myself yawning frequently. When I'm talking, I often feel short of breath. Plus, the Formoflo inhaler seems to make my heart race and gives me palpitations. Is there any other inhaler that doesn't cause these side effects? What do you recommend?
Patient is advised to continue all the medications.
