I've been on Tazloc Beta 25 for about 3 years now, and I've noticed something odd with my liver function tests. I've had them done three times during this period, and each time my total bilirubin levels have been between 1.33 and 1.45. Before I started taking the BP pills, my liver tests were always normal. Do you think the medication could be affecting my liver, or could there be another reason for this change? I haven't noticed any liver-related symptoms, but it's a bit concerning. Could you shed some light on this?

The medication Tazloc Beta 25 contains Telmisartan and Metoprolol, which are commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Ive been feeling my heartbeat quite strongly when I lie down, especially after eating, like 23 hours later. It happens at night too when Im lying down. I've noticed that my blood pressure has gone up a couple of times in the last month after eating salty foods, though most days it's normal even if I've had salt. I'm overweight by around 12-14 kgs, and I'm curious if that's contributing to this issue. Like yesterday, after having salty tea, I got a bad headache at the back of my head, and when I checked my BP with our home digital machine, it read 14090. I drank some water, and it seemed to go back to normal. I'm wondering, how accurate are those home BP machines anyway? My lifestyle is pretty sedentary because of my online work. I talked to a doctor, and he said it's not the right time to start BP medications. What do you suggest?
