I've been told during my level 2 scan that I have a low lying placenta, specifically 1.3 cm from the OS. I'm wondering if it's safe for me to fly. If it is safe, how far into my pregnancy can I travel by air? If flying isn't recommended, what precautions should I take?

View allI've got a couple of things on my mind. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant and wondering if it's okay to have bournvita milk during pregnancy? It really tastes good, and I'm curious if it's safe for my baby. Today, I had two tablespoons in warm milk for the first time and now I'm questioning if it's alright to keep having it throughout my pregnancy. Another thing, my ObGyn recommended Mothers Horlicks to me but I can't seem to find it anywhere, not even online. Do you have any suggestions for a substitute?
It's generally safe to have Bournvita in moderation during pregnancy, but keep in mind it contains sugar and added ingredients. 1-2 tablespoons with milk is fine, but you should be cautious not to overconsume. For a substitute for Mother's Horlicks, you can try other pregnancy-specific nutritional drinks like Ensure or Similac Mom, or consult your doctor for alternative options that meet your nutritional needs.

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and dealing with a lot of acidity. I'm wondering if it's safe to take Gelusil syrup for this. Can you advise?
Based on your blood test report: _High PDW (18.9 fl), MPV, and PLCR indicate:_ 1. _Platelet size variation_: High PDW suggests a larger variation in platelet size, which can be seen in conditions like thrombocytopenia or thrombocytosis. 2. _Larger platelets_: Elevated MPV indicates larger-than-average platelets, which can be associated with conditions like thrombocytopenia, myeloproliferative disorders, or inflammation. 3. _Increased platelet activation_: High PLCR suggests increased platelet activation, which can be seen in conditions like thrombotic disorders, inflammation, or infection. _Reason for concern:_ While these results are abnormal, they don't necessarily indicate a serious underlying condition. However, it's essential to consult your doctor to rule out any potential health issues.
