I've been using Betnovate N for about 7-8 years, but whenever I stop, I get these rashes, redness, and itching on my face. I've seen a skin specialist who first gave me Momisoft cream and Uvrid NF sunscreen, along with some tablets for 10 days. That seemed to help, then he switched me to Lutica and the same sunscreen for another 15 days, and it was working well. When I was in Rajasthan, he gave me Desolim cream and the sunscreen, and my skin was fine there. But now I've moved to Guwahati where it's more humid, and the rashes and redness are back. I saw a specialist here and he prescribed Eumosone and other tablets like CFM 500mg, Candimore, Mantrayx, and Lpredace 8mg, but they don't seem to be helping either. The itching and redness are still there, and I'm really desperate to fix this. What should I do to finally get rid of these skin issues?

My wife has a neck TB scar just above her collarbone on the left side, and it's really affecting her emotionally. She's feeling pretty down about how it looks. Would a scar removal cream like Mederma or No Marks work, or should we consider laser treatment or plastic surgery? I've attached a photo of the scar for reference. What would be the best option for her?

This scar would respond best to surgery. Mederman or nomarks will not help at all

I'm wondering about having sex with my wife since I have HSV-2, which causes genital herpes. I really don't want her to get infected, so what would you recommend we do?

It is important to take precautions to prevent the transmission of HSV-2 to your wife. You can discuss with your doctor about starting antiviral medication such as Valacyclovir (Valtrex) to reduce the risk of transmission. It is also recommended to use condoms consistently and to avoid sexual activity during outbreaks or if you have any symptoms. Additionally, maintaining good personal hygiene and communication with your partner about your condition are important steps to protect your wife from infection.
