I've been using this cream for a while and decided to stop, but now my skin's way darker than it was before. Im a college student, and I'm really self-conscious about it. Can you suggest some creams or treatments that could help get my skin back to normal fast?

Recently had hand surgery and there's still a mark left from it. I've been using hexilak gel for about two months now but it doesn't seem to be fading. Is this normal or should I try something else?
It’s normal to have some scarring after hand surgery. If the scar isn’t fading, you might want to try silicone gel sheets or corticosteroid injections. Consult with your surgeon for other scar treatment options if necessary.
