I'm really worried because my face has gotten darker since I delivered my baby. The doctor once mentioned that it might be due to the folic acid tablets I was taking. Post delivery hyperpigmentation is very common and the treatment is a gradual process rather than overnight change. Use Sun protection like sunscreen with spf 30 or higher and avoid direct sunlight.Use skin lightening creams containing vitamin C , Niacinamide , Azelaic acid etc.There are so many different treatment options available like chemical peels, laser treatments etc.Consult a dermatologist and go through proper treatment while maintaining a healthy lifestyle you can get rid of this hyperpigmentation completely .
