I've been using a qtip to clean my ear, and after I took it out, I noticed some bleeding. Does this mean I might've ruptured my eardrum? Should I be worried about how serious it is? Everything seems normal otherwise, like there's no pain, dizziness, and my hearing is as usual. Just wondering if I should get it checked out.

View allMy 5-year-old son snores a lot and keeps getting cold, cough, and fever with small weather changes. One doctor suggested an X-ray to check for adenoid issues, and now an ENT specialist is recommending adenoid surgery. Is surgery really necessary for a kid his age, and if so, which hospital would be best for this procedure?
Adenoid surgery, or adenoidectomy, is often recommended for children experiencing persistent snoring, recurrent infections, or breathing difficulties due to enlarged adenoids. While 5 years old is a common age for this procedure, the decision to proceed with surgery depends on the severity of symptoms and the child's overall health. If your son's symptoms are impacting his sleep, development, or causing frequent infections, an ENT specialist may recommend adenoidectomy

My nose feels really dry, and I can even feel the dryness when I'm breathing. It's uncomfortable, and I've tried putting on some Vaseline, but I'm not sure if that's enough. Is there anything else I should be doing to help with this dryness?
I recommend using a saline nasal spray to help moisturize your nasal passages. You can also try using a humidifier in your room to add moisture to the air. If the dryness persists, you can use a nasal gel like Rhinase to help lubricate your nasal passages.

I've been having some discomfort around my jaw, right beneath my left ear lobe. It's not constant, but I really notice it when I press on it. There's no issue when I'm talking or opening my mouth wide, and it doesn't hurt when I swallow either. What could this be? Should I be concerned?
That could be TM joint pain or muscle catch,no need to worry give some time it will self adjust,do not attempt to massage the area,if its becoming worse visit your ENT doctor for evaluation and appropriate treatment.
