I've been using virgin coconut oil on my scalp, and it's been really itchy afterward. Could you help me understand what might be causing this and what steps I should take to fix it?

The problem could be an allergic reaction or irritation to the coconut oil. I recommend you stop using the coconut oil and try using an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream to help with the itching. You can also take an antihistamine like cetirizine (brand name Zyrtec) to help reduce the itching. If the itching persists or gets worse, please consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.

View allI've been noticing these brown spots appearing on my face, mostly around my nose and cheeks, and it seems like they're getting darker and multiplying over time. I'm really worried about them and wondering if there's any way to get rid of them for good. Are there any treatments or procedures that can help?

I've noticed my forehead is swollen just above my right eye. It's not itchy or painful and measures about 1 inch wide by 1.5 inches in height. A couple of nights ago, my head was really itchy, and I had big, itchy bumps all over my shoulders. I'm not sure if that's connected, but what might be causing the swelling on my forehead?
he sudden onset of a painless, non-itchy swelling on your forehead, coinciding with a previous episode of itchy bumps on your shoulders, could be related to an allergic reaction, insect bites, or angioedema, but other possibilities include a forehead cyst, eyelid stye, or a side effect of a medication; to determine the cause and appropriate treatment, it's recommended to consult a dermatologist or primary care physician for a thorough evaluation.
