I've done a beta hcg test because my periods are late, and the result came back as 0.861 mIUmL. I'm confused about whether this is positive or negative, as my doctor mentioned it should be above 5 mIUmL. Why might this low value show up? I'm really stressed about it and could use some help understanding what's going on.

These are Hormonal Fluctuations so the result is negative for pregnancy. Typically: Non-pregnant levels: < 5 mIUmL. Positive for pregnancy: 5 mIUmL. Low beta hCG can sometimes appear in women of reproductive age, but it doesnt indicate pregnancy.

View allI'm recently married and we're planning to start a family. I've been prescribed Bandy Plus, and I'm a little concernedIs it safe for me to take it while we're trying for a baby? Can you provide some guidance on this?
Bandy Plus is an iron supplement, and its safety during pregnancy or planning for pregnancy depends on several factors. _Safety Considerations_ 1. _Folic Acid Content_: Bandy Plus contains folic acid, which is essential for preventing birth defects during pregnancy. 2. _Iron Content_: Iron is crucial for pregnant women, but excessive iron intake can be harmful. _Precautions for Planning Pregnancy_ 1. _Consult Your Doctor_: Inform your doctor about taking Bandy Plus and your plans for pregnancy. They'll advise on the safe dosage and duration. 2. _Monitor Iron Levels_: Regularly check your iron levels to avoid excessive intake. 3. _Folic Acid Dosage_: Ensure you're not exceeding the recommended folic acid dosage (400-800 mcgday). _Alternative Options_ If your doctor recommends alternative iron supplements, consider: 1. _Ferrous sulfate_: A commonly prescribed iron supplement. 2. _Ferrous fumarate_: Another iron supplement option.

I'm really worried because I've been having trouble with my periods this month. They're delayed by 12 days, which hasn't happened to me in over four years. My cycle's been super regular for the last two years, almost like clockwork. Four years ago, I had PCOD and took medication for it, and then three years ago, I had issues with my endometrium thickening, but medication helped with that. These last couple of years have been normal with regular exercise and good eating habits. But this past month, I've been really stressed and haven't exercised properly, which messed with my appetite too. Now I'm just spotting and having some white discharge, but then nothing else. It keeps repeating like that, with severe body pain and mood swings, plus bloating, but still no periods. What can I do to fix this?
While the delay in your period is likely linked to stress and lifestyle changes, given your history of PCOD and endometrial issues, its best to consult with a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. In the meantime, focusing on stress reduction, proper nutrition, and light physical activity may help improve your symptoms.

Why is my period late not pregnant?
One may have some underlying causes such as stress, hormone imbalance, poly or uterine fibroids which cause delay in periods in the absence of pregnancy.
