I've got a bump that just popped up on the side of my nose out of nowhere, and it's been hanging around for two weeks. Whenever I try to mess with it, I get this white pus along with some blood from the pores. My skin is super oily and I do get these acne bumps sometimes. I'm wondering what might be going on and how I can get rid of it. Any thoughts?

The sudden bump on your nose could be a:
- Sebaceous cyst
- Pimple or acne cyst
- Ingrown hair
To get rid of the bump:
Self-Care
- Stop picking: Avoid squeezing or picking the bump to prevent further inflammation and scarring.
- Warm compresses: Apply a warm, damp washcloth to the area for 5-7 minutes, 2-3 times a day.
- Keep the area clean: Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser, avoiding harsh products.
Topical Treatments
- Benzoyl peroxide: Apply a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream or gel to the affected area.
- Tea tree oil: Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with a carrier oil (coconut or olive oil) and apply it to the bump.
Professional Help
If the bump persists, worsens, or becomes severely inflamed, consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.
In the meantime, consider:
- Oily skin management: Use oil-free products, and consider a clay-based mask to control oil production.
- Acne treatment: If you're prone to acne, consider consulting a dermatologist for a personalized treatment plan.

View allI've been taking finax 1mg tablets for about 2 months now. I'm 27 years old and I've noticed an increase in body hair on my hands, legs, and chest. Can you help me understand why this is happening all of a sudden?
Finax 1mg tablets contain Finasteride, which is commonly used to treat hair loss in men. However, one of the side effects of Finasteride can be increased body hair growth. This is known as hirsutism. It is important to note that not everyone will experience this side effect, but it can happen in some individuals. If you are concerned about the increased body hair growth, you may consider discussing this with your healthcare provider.

I'm curious about switching products for better skin fairness. I've been using Roop Mantra Ayurvedic cream for a couple of months, but I haven't seen much improvement. I recently heard about Kojiglo gel and I'm considering trying it out. Could you let me know if it's safe for my skin?
Kojiglo gel contains Kojic acid which is often used to lighten skin. It can be safe for skin lightening purposes, but it's important to use it under the guidance of a healthcare professional. You can apply a thin layer of Kojiglo gel on the affected areas once daily at night. Remember to use sunscreen during the day as Kojic acid can increase sensitivity to sunlight.
