I've got this lump behind my right nipple that showed up about a month ago. Some days it feels tender, and other times it just sits there. I'm wondering if it could be a swollen lymph node or maybe a symptom of an STD? I've been into weightlifting for the past three months and haven't used any supplementscould that be a factor? Also, my nipple sometimes feels irritated, especially when my shirt touches it. What do you think might be going on?

A lump behind your nipple could be a swollen lymph node, a benign cyst, or a glandular issue; lifting weights may cause breast tissue irritation or inflammation, especially if you're wearing tight or abrasive clothing; STDs are less likely, but possible; nipple irritation and tenderness can be caused by various factors, including friction, skin conditions, or hormonal changes; consult a doctor, preferably a primary care physician or a dermatologist, for a thorough examination and proper diagnosis to determine the cause and appropriate treatme

View allI'm a bit worried about my height because I'm 16 and only 5'3". My dad is around 5'7" or 5'8" and my mom's height ranges between 5'4" and 5'3". I've heard that having a beard at a young age might mean I'm done growing taller, and I have a lot of facial hair. My doctor mentioned that my hand growth plates are fused. Does this mean I can't get any taller or is there still a chance I might grow more?

Why don't people who have diabetes heal early?
Raised blood sugar can affect the blood vessels cauing in slow movement of nutrients needed for wound to heal, diabetes also affects nerves which reduce one's sensitivity to pain from wound leading to repetitive traumas and lastly, diabetes also makes immune system less effective in fighting the infection.
