I've got this painful sore on the roof of my mouth and it's making eating pretty difficult. It hurts whenever anything touches the sore. I've never dealt with this kind of sore before and I'm not sure what's causing it. There's a noticeable bright red spot in there. Can you tell me what this might be? What's going on here?

View allI've been noticing some white patches in my mouth for the past few days and Im a bit worried. I've attached an image so you can get a better look. Could it just be a fungal infection, or is it something more serious? Since it doesnt hurt, bleed, or scrape off, and the size hasn't increased, I'm feeling a bit confused about what it could be. Should I be concerned about oral cancer? I've never smoked, drank alcohol, or chewed tobacco. Do you think it's serious enough to need immediate medical attention? This has been going on for about a month and I have them on both sides of my gums near my wisdom teeth. I dont remember hurting myself with my toothbrush, although my teeth might've bitten the same spot. Right now, Im using a multivitamin and Kenacort gel. What do you think?
May be a case of oral lichen planus. To help with this condition, you can try using a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine and applying a topical corticosteroid like Triamcinolone dental paste. Additionally, you may benefit from taking Vitamin B complex supplements to support oral health. It is advisable to consult with a dentist or an oral medicine specialist for a proper evaluation and management plan. Please continue with your multivitamin supplement and kenacort gel, but consider adding chlorhexidine mouthwash and Triamcinolone dental paste for the oral lesions. If there are any concerns or if the condition worsens, do seek medical advice for further evaluation and management.

I'm really worried because my tongue always smells really bad, and I think it's causing my terrible breath. I scrape it every day, but nothing seems to help. Is there anything I can do to fix this? And what kind of doctor should I see for this issue?
You may be experiencing halitosis due to bacteria on your tongue. I recommend using a tongue scraper along with an antiseptic mouthwash containing chlorhexidine. You can also try using a tongue gel containing zinc chloride. Additionally, make sure to stay hydrated and maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth and tongue regularly. For over-the-counter options, you can try using Colgate Peroxyl Mouth Sore Rinse as a mouthwash and Orabrush Tongue Cleaner for scraping your tongue. Remember to follow the instructions on the packaging for proper use. If the issue persists, you can consult with a dentist or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

I've noticed this small, skin tag-like piece of tissue inside my mouth on the cheek side, and it's pretty uncomfortable. Im not sure if I should see a dentist or a doctor about it. Do you have any idea what it could be?
The excess tissue inside your mouth, resembling a small skin tag, could be a benign growth such as a fibroma, mucocele, or a traumatic fibroma, and it's recommended to consult a dentist or an oral surgeon for a proper evaluation and diagnosis, as they can assess the tissue and possibly remove it if necessary
