I've got this preauricular sinus pit and every month it starts discharging with this really bad smell. I'm wondering if I should go for surgery or if there's any medication that can help with this? I'm not sure what the best course of action is and would love some advice.

I've been dealing with something really weird and it's got me a bit concerned. So, a few times now, I've coughed up this big, white, cheese-like chunk that smells terrible.
