I've got a question about tetanus. I got the vaccine a couple of months back, but now I've got this small cut on my finger, and some dirt got in it. There's a bit of blood. Do I need to get another tetanus shot, or am I covered? I'm just a bit worried about it.

If you have had a tetanus vaccine within the last 5 years, you should not need another dose for a minor wound like a small cut on your finger. However, it is important to clean the wound thoroughly with soap and water, apply an antiseptic, and monitor for any signs of infection such as increased redness, swelling, or drainage.

No you are not supposed to take two tablets at once,if already taken no need to worry once will not cause serious problems, but over dose would cause sever gastritis, liver damage etc.,

I'm curious about what's going on with my throat. I noticed it started feeling sore after I drank some cold water yesterday. Is that a common reason for a sore throat? And do you have any suggestions on what medicine I should take to help it feel better?
Here are some home remedies to help alleviate nasal congestion and breathing difficulties: 1. Steam Inhalation: Inhale steam from boiling water or a humidifier to loosen mucus. 2. Nasal Saline Rinse: Use a neti pot or squeeze bottle with saline solution to clear nasal passages. 3. Honey and Lemon: Mix equal parts honey and lemon juice in warm water to soothe the throat and ease congestion. 4. Eucalyptus Oil: Add a few drops to your diffuser or inhale directly from a cloth or tissue. 5. Warm Compresses: Apply a warm, damp washcloth to your face to loosen mucus. 6. Drink Plenty of Fluids: Stay hydrated to thin out mucus and promote drainage. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

I'm really worried because my roommate just caught chicken pox while riding the metro, and I'm trying everything to not catch it too. I'm staying away from him and keeping his things separate. But since we're sharing the same room, is there still a chance I could end up getting infected?
Yes ,isolation is advised to the patient.
