I've had ACL and meniscus surgery back in August, and then in December, I slipped and fell. My knee's not swollen, but it bent all the way back, which hurt for a couple of days. It's been a few weeks now, and I'm back at the gym. I'm pretty sure it's not my ACL, but I'm worried about the meniscus. There are minor pains, nothing too severe, but I don't have health insurance. I can jog and jump, but there's something a bit off in my knee. How can I tell if I might have torn my meniscus?

View allmy right leg is completely affected by polio and my left leg is partially affected are there any surgical options to help strengthen both legs
Yes, there are surgical options that can help improve function and stability in legs affected by polio. These options aim to correct deformities, improve muscle strength, and stabilize joints. Surgical interventions for polio often involve tendon transfers, releases of contractures, and in some cases, procedures like osteotomies (bone reshaping) or leg lengthening.

My mom has had arthritis for over 20 years and now her fractured leg isn't healing properly. She keeps getting repeated wounds near the surgery area why is this happening? What can we do to help her recover? Will her bone eventually form properly, and how long might the healing take?
Patient is advised for orthopedician opinion for further treatment.
