I've had anal fissures for about 3 months now and my gastroenterologist recommended sucralfate ointment. But now I feel like there's a muscle-like fissure near my anus and the doctor is suggesting surgery with a one-day hospital stay. Is surgery really the only option here? Are there any other treatments that could work? I've heard about Ayurvedic treatments would those be a better choice for healing this?

I'm just wondering if it's okay for someone who recently had an open surgery for piles to eat foods cooked in mustard oil. Also, what are the foods, especially vegetables and fruits, and drinks she should avoid after this surgery? Any home remedies that could help her with the recovery? And is there a way to treat piles permanently without having to go through surgery again?

Yes, a patient who has undergone open surgery for piles can consume mustard oil in moderation, as it does not directly affect recovery. To aid healing, she should avoid spicy, fried, and processed foods, as well as alcohol. Focus on a high-fiber diet with fruits like papaya and vegetables, stay hydrated, and avoid constipation by drinking plenty of water. For prevention without surgery, maintain a high-fiber diet, regular exercise, and avoid prolonged straining during bowel movements.

I've got this 12-inch soft skin lump hanging around the wrinkle part of my anus, and it's been there for over a year. It's flesh-colored and hasn't caused me any discomfort at all. I'm just wondering, will this lump eventually go away on its own, or is it likely to just stick around?

I recently noticed this hard lump around my rectum, and its got me really worried. I've heard about Anovate hemorroid cream and was wondering how effective it is in dealing with this kind of issue? Also, how should I use it to get the best results? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Anovate cream will help in reducing pain, itching, and inflammation associated with hemorrhoids. It will also help in shrinking the swollen tissues. However, if you feel a hard flesh over your rectum, it is important to have a proper examination by a doctor to rule out any other underlying conditions. Remember to maintain good hygiene, eat a high-fiber diet, and drink plenty of water to help with your condition.
