I've had asthma for 15 years, and it's usually pretty mild. I've been using a Foracort inhaler 400 when needed. Lately, I've noticed that sometimes I feel like I'm breathing too fast and have some breathing issues, especially when I close my mouth. This only happens occasionally, and it's almost like I only notice it when I think about it. Also, just today, I started having a little dry cough and a slight irritation in my throat that feels bitter, but it's only when I cough. Should I be worried about these new symptoms, or is it just a passing thing? Would love your advice on what could be going on.

View allI'm a bit concerned about this shortness of breath I keep experiencing, especially after 3 pm nearly every day. I find myself needing to take deep breaths or breathe through my mouth, and sometimes my chest hurts because of it. I've been dealing with this off and on since 2014, but it wasn't as frequent back then, and my doctor said I was fine. Now it's happening daily, and I'm not sure what to make of it. Is there something specific that could be causing this? I drink water regularly and try to stay healthy, so it's puzzling why this keeps occurring.
The recurring shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and need for deep breathing or mouth breathing, especially after 3 pm daily, may indicate underlying conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), anxiety, or cardiac issues, and warrants a thorough medical evaluation, including pulmonary function tests, echocardiogram, and blood work, to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.

I'm really worried because his oxygen levels are dropping, but the RTPCR test came back negative. We're still concerned it might be Covid. The problem is there's no oxygen cylinder or bed available, and we can't get through to the MH LKO team members for any support or medicine. We feel so helpless watching his condition worsen. Can you please advise us on what to do?

I'm really worried about my mom who's been diagnosed with pneumonia at St. Luke's E.R. The doctor gave her medication for just 15 days, but she's still struggling with a cough that keeps her up all night and it's affecting her sleep. We're really concerned because she's not allowed to leave the house, and we want to find out if theres a different medication or treatment that might help her. Who can we reach out to for more advice? Would appreciate any guidance!
