I've had both internal and external piles for three days now, and there's this sticky, transparent mucus discharging from them. The lump isn't getting any smaller; it's still hard and just sits outside my anus, causing some mild pain and itchiness. Do you think it's time to consider surgery? Also, is there any way to stop the mucus discharge?

View allI'm a bit worried about these extra tissues I've noticed around the anal area, kind of like external piles or warts. Is there any chance they could turn into cancer down the line? And if needed, is it possible to get them surgically removed?
That could be hemarrhoids,Consume plenty of water and fibre rich food to avoid constipation and plan for surgery as that is the treatment of choice

I've been dealing with piles for a while now and my doctor recommended surgery but I'm really nervous about it - is surgery the only option or are there other treatments I could try first
For advanced cases (Grade III and IV) or when non-surgical methods fail, surgical intervention may be the best option. Common surgical procedures include: Hemorrhoidectomy: This involves the complete removal of hemorrhoids and is highly effective for severe cases.
