I've had a deviated nasal septum for the past 4 months with constant nose blockage - is surgery the only option or can medications help improve it? Are there other treatments I should consider for DNS?

I'm noticing a yellowish color on the roof of my mouth, and it's been bothering me. I've also been having a persistent cough and there's this hard area up there that has me a bit concerned. Plus, my mouth has been feeling really dry lately. Do you think this might be something serious? I'm worried and could use some advice. I've attached a photo of the inside of my mouth for reference.
