I've had fissures for the past 12 years but now I'm noticing swelling. Can this be managed with medication and lifestyle changes or is surgery the only option? Would really appreciate your advice

View allI'm really worried about my piles. It's been 23 years since they first showed up, and lately, I've been having a lot of pain and irritation during and after going to the bathroom. It's so bad that I cant even stand properly for about 5 minutes, and it takes about 2 hours for the pain to go away. I've cut down on oily and spicy foods and drink plenty of water, but nothing seems to help. I tried Dobesil for a month, and it worked for a while, but then after about 3-4 months, the problem came back. I really need to know if theres a way to treat this with medicine at this stage, or maybe through homeopathy? Is it possible to manage or cure this completely?
Sounds like you are experiencing symptoms of hemorrhoids (piles). To help manage the pain and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids, you can try using over-the-counter medications such as Preparation H or Anusol. These medications help reduce inflammation, pain, and itching. You can also try sitz baths and keeping the anal area clean to help alleviate symptoms. For a more long-term solution, you may need to consult with a doctor to discuss prescription medications or procedures such as rubber band ligation or sclerotherapy.

I had laser surgery for piles and fissure on 29th September but still haven't passed any stool only gas and some bloody discharge. Is this normal or should I be worried? What can I do to ease this?
After laser surgery for piles and fissures, it's not uncommon to experience delayed bowel movements or mild discomfort. If you're concerned, consult your surgeon for advice. You can try fiber supplements, warm baths, and stool softeners to help ease discomfort.

I've been dealing with what I think is an external thrombosed hemorrhoid for about 5 days now. I noticed some slight bleeding months ago but didn't think much of it. Now it seems bigger and more purple, and while the pain comes and goes, I'm not sure if it's getting better or worse. Should I stick with home treatment or look into seeing someone about surgery or other options?
fistulectomy is advised.sx opinion is advised.
