I've had a fully torn ACL and grade 3 meniscus tear since May 6th. My orthopedic doctor recommended surgery but I've been trying physiotherapy instead - my leg has improved but still feels weak. Is surgery the only option at this point or could continued physio help me recover fully?

Severe ACL and meniscus tears often need surgery for full recovery. Physiotherapy may improve strength but rarely restores full stability.

View allI've been having this ganglion cyst on my wrist lately and it's been bothering me. What usually causes these and what are the treatment options? Is it something serious that might need surgery, and if so, how long does recovery usually take? Also, what's the chance of it coming back after treatment? Could you recommend a good specialist for this in Mumbai or nearby areas?
Excision of the ganglion cyst is advised to the patient at apollo hospital.

My MRI shows a complete ACL tear with some tibial translation, plus meniscus tears in both medial and lateral parts, along with cartilage issues and joint effusion. Is surgery the only option for this or are there other ways to manage it? I'm worried about recovery time and whether PT could help instead
Non-surgical management may work if you have low activity demands. But with instability and multiple injuries, ACL reconstruction is usually recommended for long-term joint health and mobility.
