I have an ACL tear and meniscus tear in my right knee but I can still run and jog with some pain sometimes. The MRI confirmed the ACL tear. Is it okay to keep running daily without surgery, and are there any precautions I should take?

I have both ACL and PCL injuries but I've still been playing football with a knee guard. What risks am I taking by continuing to play? My surgery is scheduled for October should I stop playing until then?
