My 10-year-old son has cubitus varus in his left elbow and we're considering surgery for correction. I've noticed many doctors recommend lateral wedge osteotomy but I'm concerned about the lateral condylar prominence issue that can come with it. Are there any specialists in Pune or Mumbai who perform dome osteotomy for this condition?

Dome osteotomy is a good alternative and reduces cosmetic deformity. Pediatric orthopedic surgeons in major hospitals like Hinduja (Mumbai) or Deenanath Mangeshkar (Pune) may offer this—seek a second opinion there.

Knee replacement surgery is generally very successful and can significantly improve quality of life for patients. Many patients are able to resume normal activities, such as walking, climbing stairs, and engaging in low-impact exercise

I've been having pain in both hips, mostly around the groin area. Got an X-ray and MRI done, but my doctor is recommending surgery. Wondering if there are other options or if surgery is really necessary? The pain's been bothering me a lot and I'm not sure what to do next.
